General Eligibility Requirements
WAIFF Turkey is exclusively open to creators of Turkish nationality and creators legally residing in Turkey.
WAIFF Turkey welcomes both fully AI-generated films and hybrid productions combining live-action and AI-generated content, provided that Artificial Intelligence plays a significant and meaningful role in the creative process.
To be eligible, submitted works must:
- Be original works and respect intellectual property rights.
- Not rely on deepfake technologies designed to imitate identifiable individuals without authorization.
- Films may be submitted in any language. English subtitles must be included directly in the video.

The road to cannes...
The WAIFF Turkey Jury will select the five best Turkish films from the official competitions. These films will be showcased during the World AI Film Festival Cannes 2027 as part of the Road to Cannes Selection, offering international visibility to Turkish AI creators.
