The World AI Film Festival (WAIFF) is the world’s first festival that combines the tools of Artificial Intelligence with the values ​​of cinema.
WAIFF embodies a bold vision: that of a future where technology and humans unite to push the boundaries of creation, while promoting artificial intelligence that respects creators’ rights and copyright.
In the continuity of the great cinematographic revolutions, WAIFF celebrates the link between technological innovation and artistic heritage.

Is A.I. the future or the end of cinema?
Trial of the film ECHO, a thriller phenomenon with 18 million admissions, has conquered France… but unleashed a storm. Its script, casting, dialogues and music were entirely created by artificial intelligence, a world first.
If the public applauds, the profession wonders: can a film without filming or actors be recognized as a cinematographic work?
Join us for this captivating mock trial where the future of cinema will be discussed. A moment that will be both entertaining and enriching!
9:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. AWARDS CEREMONY
Claude Lelouch, Honorary President of the Festival, will announce the Festival Prizes in each category of the Official Competition.
This unique evening rewards the best AI films, the best feature film synopsis, the best series bible and the best smartphone film integrating AI, as well as a Department06 Favorite Prize.

Focused on innovation and digital creation, a forum for discussions and meetings around AI and cinema, the WAiFF Pro Talks will bring together film and digital professionals to observe the changes sweeping the image industry, to decipher new economic models and new narrative forms of cinema.

The SRF invites you to a discussion between four filmmakers on the effects of AI on their directing techniques. Founded in 1968, the SRF (Society of Film Directors) represents more than 500 filmmakers of short, medium-length, and feature films, whether they make fiction, documentaries, or animation. It defends artistic and moral freedoms, as well as the professional and economic interests of filmmaking.
